Let us introduce you to Edie!

Meet Edie!

Edie is our 1963 vintage camper that we got a few months ago. We decided once we moved to SLC, that we wanted to use our location as a way to travel around the western United States, and we figured the best and cheapest way to accomplish that would be to get a camper. So began the search for a vintage camper, mostly because they are MUCH cuter than the modern campers with much more character.

After only a few weeks of scouring the internet, we got lucky and found Edie. Plus, the people who owned her happened to live just a few minutes from our house. I'm convinced it was fate. Of course, it definitely took some convincing to talk Travis into getting a pink camper named Edie (she came with the name). But look at her...how could he say no for very long? (that's rhetorical). So we brought Edie home and began planning our maiden voyage.
She sleeps 6 people (who really like each other) and came equipped with running water, electricity, and a stovetop and oven.

We can't wait to start traveling! We did go on our first camping trip to Antelope Island, but that is a story for another time. We'll keep you posted!
